Marking Scheme in GRE

The content of the GRE consists of certain specific algebra, geometry, and arithmetic topics that can appear in various combinations.

During the registration process, be prepared to provide some personal information—namely your full name and email address—and credit card information. How to choose a testing location?

When deciding where to take the GRE, there are two main factors to consider: distance and familiarity. It’s important that you feel comfortable with both. You should register for a testing location that isn’t too far away from your house. The last thing you want on test day is to be stressed out about how you are going to get there, or not be able to find the place once you arrive. At the same time, it’s best not to register for a test center that is too close either—you don’t want any complications or distractions on your way there. Complaints against Problem while Giving Exam:

How to cancel the registration and get a refund?

You may cancel your GRE test appointment and request a refund of 50% of your test fee if you submit your written request (email or fax) at least four days before your test date. No refunds are available for requests received less than four days before the test; however, you can transfer your GRE test to another date for a US$50 rescheduling fee.

No refunds are available for missed appointments, late cancellations, or changes from one test type (General Test or Subject Test) to the other. For example, if you schedule and pay for a General Test but decide approximately seven days before the scheduled test date that you would prefer to take a Subject Test instead, no refund will be granted.

Will the GRT board refund me if I don’t present on the exam?

If you cancel your GRE exam test registration at least five days before the test date, you receive a 50% refund of your test fee.

If you change or cancel your GRE exam registration less than four days before the test date, ETS does not issue any refund.

ETS does not issue refunds for any other reason.

Can I use Calculator during the exam of GRE?

Calculators with the following features are prohibited:

• calculators that can share information (through connection to another calculator or to any other electronic device, including through infrared or wireless technology)
• calculators that have QWERTY (typewriter-like) keypads
• calculators capable of accessing the Internet
• calculators capable of communication (for example, e-mailing, texting, and printing)
